Zara. My love for you is endless. This season I struggle to walk into any Zara without wanting to caress all of the clothes and embrace the mannequins. But I don’t want to look weird, I just want to shop. So I resist. And spend.

Finally, after what seems like an eternity of waiting for term to start, I have enrolled on my MA in Fashion Journalism at Central Saint Martins. As much as I admired the no nonsense, casual, roll up to uni in your joggers, hoody and flip flops look that seemed to have permeated almost every student’s sartorial mind whilst at Cardiff University, it does seem to fall short in the style-stakes when compared to the students at CSM. An ongoing procession of inspiration and diversity- in an arts school, being stylish seems to come with the territory.

Term starts next week.
